Customize external party access

From within each matter, you can set client access to the client portal. Setting permissions for users will help you control whether your clients can read, create, upload, or delete documents by folder.  

The “upload only” setting allows clients and external parties to upload documents to a folder, but not see the contents of that folder, ensuring confidentiality.

Get notified when documents have been uploaded

Each time a document has been uploaded or updated in the lawyer portal, clients will get notified by email. There is also a built-in portal notification, located in the alert bar within Actionstep.
